If the stock coil packs (which are very good) are lighting the fire I highly doubt that aftermarket coils will make any difference. There is a lot of disinformation out there most of the minor bolt on's are useless on a near stock engine .

I'm guessing they are not worth the money for NA car as the gains would be substantially less than the 15hp on the SC car in 5.0. I'd guess a few hp maybe. Quality looked good in the magazine, though.

I dont think they would do anything, and granatelli is crap. If you want aftermarket check out the accel COP's.

Leave your stock coils. when they fail, replace with Motorcraft coils. There really is no need for anything else

Granatelli's stuff scares me. Most of there stuff is imported from China. The quality control there consists of a guy who works in a bike manufacturer, a golf club manufacturer and the electronics manufacturer all in the same week. Jack of all trades, master of none.

yeah....but my car is FI....after reading the article it kinda made me thing that aftermarket COP's might be a good investment...seems like it would also help w/ fine tuning the engine.....I think our spark plug setup is a biotch either way though....sucks having to take the air intake and fuel rails off

I didn't get the whole coil pack, just the COP connectors for $100. Nice thick wire independently proven to give less resistance. Those springs in there from the factory are pathetic.
