Figured i would just ask on here and see if anyone else that installed one of these had a problem with the front wheel/ wheels being too far forward, too where it rubs when you turn...

Yea only my driver side rubs i beat the K member back as fas as i can.. It helped a little. I may need to notch the bolt holes. From my research ive found it sounds like they designed these to move the wheels 3/4"farther forward (retarded) .. The only reason i put this thing on is i got it from a friend for a good price new. If i would of known this i would never of gotten this one

On the K-Frame?
If so, NO!!! Are you SERIOUS??
DO *NOT* EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!
If you want to keep that k-frame, then you'll likely have to modify your fender outline. As I remember, Griggs talks about how to do that on their web-site.

i think that Kmember, just like the MM one they copied, was designed to be used with 91-93 fenders, which have a wider opening.

i said the same thing.. but i have to have the a arms the right way cuz my sway bar mounts to them
I called granatelli and they said they are aware of this issue and the K member is designed to put the front wheels 3/4" forward than stock .... Ill be over the garage tommarow to play with it a little bit

Theyre supposed to be like that. I have one and just trimmed the fender extension and fender a bit and you dont even notice. if you like handling then its a big benefit. One question I have though. Are your front wheels flush with the fenders when you look at it from the front. I had mine in 2 cars and it wants to be offset to the drivers side, but according to the plumbbob points , its square. Im wondering if I got a bad k member.
