I can get a Granatelli LCA for $154 from a local shop. Does anyone have any experience w/these LCA and did it reduce your wheel hop? I guess almost anything is better than stock.

GMS has a pretty bad reputation around the internet. I would stay away. There are several options out there for that price or less, with good reputations. J&M LCA's are right around $100, and they have a great reputation. HotPart.com

I bought and installed Steeda tubular LCA. I paid only 189. Install was a PIA. Took me a little over 3hrs. I couldn't get the tq wrench in the space to tighten down the front bolts, so I used a large ratchet to tighten it as much as I could.
Was your socket too long? I use a 3/4" torque wrench, and after tightening the bolt about half way, my torque wrench fits in just fine. In any event, as long as you got them about as tight as you possibly can, you should be okay. I've found that 130 ft/lbs is just before the point of giving yourself a hernia, lol. If you give yourself one, you went just a bit too far.

i live an hour away from steeda so i just went there and they did it for me and finished the job quickly.
