Really? Thats crazy. However its not the first time I have heard of threads being deleted over there so its to far fetched that it would be happening again. I know someone who had a thread about MMR's oil pump deleted over there.

Now that I think about it there was a thread about his platinum series K in the termi forum on modfords that has vanished. The thread began to get out of hand thanks to me and one other person. I remeber going back and trying to find it to see what J.R. had to say and it was gone. I assumed that it was lost when Modfords switched to a new network. Now I am thinking it was intentionaly deleted. Interesting.

There have been times when thread have been staff-archived, which looks like deleted, to the public, but it's never, ever been because they felt a need to whitewash an advertiser. Until now.

If you run the GMS stuff I would deffentely look into getting some MM coilovers. The GMS coilovers use a sleeve that just slides down on the strut where as MM uses a sleeve that rides on a blocker ring that is torqued in place. Hands down MM has a much much better design. GMS has actually had at least one failure of that sleeve that is documented. Either way you will need new struts because your stockers can hanlde coil over spring rates.

Not all that suprising now that I have thought about it for a few. Guys like him pay the bills for sites. I can understand how a vendor could have enough influence to make something like that happen. It also bothers me that it doesn't take all that much for issues with products to be swept under the rug. With stuff like that going on how are people supposed to make good decissions on what to buy or, what NOT to buy for that matter? I guess that's why it is so important to gather info from multiple sources.

If I ran a forum I would explain to any vendor that under no cercumstances would I delete a negitive thread and that it would be up to them to make everything right with the customer.

What tokicos? If you have blues you can't run a coil over setup on them.

If I were you I would seriously consider waiting on MM's deal of the day for K-members to come back. They have been up twice now and I am willing to bet they will be back at least once. The best part is that they have been fallowed by A-arms both times and the coil over conversions have come up too. I have been doing more and more re-search into GMS and I think I have gone from "form your own opinion" to "Stay the hell away from that copy cat thief!".

That is BS what has happened over there. I think MFE should be a mod over here with a road race/auto-x section.

Well thats what happens when the owner of a site places profit above information. At least he can't escape every issue that pops up with his china made products. Anyone considering a new K member or other suspension product should take a look at the granatelli thread on corner-carvers.

technically you can...everything will fit up just fine...its the spring rate of coilovers why the blues shouldnt be used with a coilover set up....they aren't dampened enough and will blow out very quickly after a coilover is installed on them....

ask me how i know
