Got them on my 4-valve 4.6 and I like 'em. Engine idles smoother, maybe a bit more responsive to throttle input as well. No huge improvements, but I think it was worth the $120 or so that I paid for them. I've heard Mustang guys say that getting the entire COP replacement, with the coil as well as the connector yields measurable power increases on the 3-valve 4.6, but it's much more expensive of course.

thanks, now i just need to get a hold of someone that stocks them. summit racing has yet to add them to their website, and are slow at answering the phone today....

if it really adds 12 hp for $120, that would be a sweet mod. we will see the price later.....

Hang on, I probably didn't make that clear. Just the coil connectors cost me $120 and they do NOT add 12hp. You'd need the connectors and the Granatelli coils as well for that gain, which is more like $600, if memory serves.

The connectors alone just improve the electrical path from the stock coils to the plug.
EDIT: If you look at the pictures on that page I linked you'll see on the left they show just the connectors, on the right they show their after-market coils and connectors together.

Sorry for the confusion.

yes I have the coil packs and connectors. No pictures, car is in garage at home.
it is an easy upgrade and adds good power when using forced induction.
I have had bad luck with Ford Coils in the past and that reason alone made me change them to aftermarket COPs.

It is really worth 12hp? How inefficient are the factory ones? If it is really worth 12hp then the factroy ones aren't that great. If you don't mind me asking how much was that mod? Was it worth the investment?

They cost $620 @ http://www.performancecenter.com

Quality product but Not cheap, as with most Granatelli stuff, a bit pricey.
