Hey guys,
it seems that my car is always being worked on no matter performance or maintanence. My question this time is why the hell will my car not idle. I'll give you the symptoms: From a cold start i have to give it gas to get it running, usually a lot of smoke is emmited (smells like fuel), everytime I put the clutch in it dies, when i let off the gas in any gear it slows down rapidly like im down shifting but happens in all gears, I have to keep my foot slightly on the gas at all times. This has all progessively gotten worse. It started out doin this, but then by the time it was warm it would run fine. Someone told me it had something to do with the Longtubes/O2 sensor distance difference and the time it took to heat them. But now it wont run at all, so I dont think it has anything to do with the LTs.
I know this is a long winded question, but could someone please help me quik??!!!
P.S. I have to drive back and forth to NIU from Algonquin,IL. (about 55min drive) It is getting quite annoying and dangerous for stopping and turning issues.
