Griiinnddinnnnnn

Ok so everytime I start my car in the morning and when the engine is still cold I have a hard time going into reverse...I first have to put it in first then Im able to go into reverse....then once Im driving and shift to second it almost doesnt want to let me go into second and you can hear it grind...why does it do this...once i drive for about 5 mins and the engine has warmed up the grindin goes away....

what should i do? will my extended warranty cover this problem?

Adjust your clutch and check your trans fluid. If your fluid has been changed recently its provably the wrong weight. If a fluid is too heavy, when it is cold it will cause problems shifting.

Without owning a manual tranny and going only off of what ive read previously, i'm going to guess that your car has a Tremec 3650 in it? If so it's telling you it's on its way out I believe...

You have nothing to worry about. ALL t45's/3650s do that because there are no synchro's in the tranny. You to put it in first gear and then try reverse. Or move the car forward a lil while in first gear.
