lol i took her in today, looked at front brakes, nothing wrong, took a test drive again and i guess its from the rear.

I took off the right back wheel, BEFORE i got the drum off, the little clip fell out. After i pulled the drum a couple of springs followed. A spring got caught in the corner of the drum and grinded it down a bit.

But i am pretty sure this happened because we got in a hurry. I was new to rear brakes when we did it and i had 2 expierenced kids help me. It took us a while to get the hang of it. Class was ending soon so we had to hurry, so i and one of the kids got the other on rather quickly. I guess too quickly, i think one of the springs was on the wrong way and came undone.

But i have been doing alot of rear brake work lately, i am getting good at it.
Its not hard its just delicate and its better to have the special tools

All those clips and springs are for the e-brake.

PITA really as mine fell out on me once as well. I had the same grinding noise. I pulled a drum off and half the parts just fell out.

Good thing i have rear disk now. Much easier to deal with
