hey all
last few days car has made some grinding noises on occasion when i put it into third. only when i go 2nd to third...hasnt happened from 4th to 3rd yet....any ideas what this is?

Sounds like the syncros (sp?) are going. It's usually the 2nd to 3rd that goes out the most. There is nothing you can do at this point accept go to a shop and get it fixed.
Yup, that's it, the syncros are going out. Start saving for a new one. Your tranny will last a while w/o syncs but the grinding into gear will take it's toll.
