Oh c'mon! You really cant be lost.
#1 you wanted someone to change your tampon.
#2 Raceoholic thought your mom still did that for you.
#3 I suggested a self servicing piece that changed itself for you. Granted, it doesn't exist, but then again you don't have a vagina either.
Err......you dont,......have one........I mean you really don't have a vagina do you?

Mine's been sitting mostly since late December when it left me stranded on the side of the road. Been playing with my new GT instead. Though I did stab a new dizzy into it, that has it's own thread, and I haven't been able to get enough free time to drive the car and see if it is truly fixed.

Yeah, well people post build threads for one reason in my book: To get their ego stroked. In other words, "Hey! Look what I did".

I disagree

I did mine to create a sort of scrap book online. My thread was well over 100 pages and it was mostly just me documenting my own build in a public way.

Once in a while, when I am bored I open the thread to page 1 and start reading to remind me of how much work I did, alone, in the span of a few months.

I wish I could document it in a scrap book, but these days Internet is just easier

I do the same thing w/ regard to reviewing the build thread, but those pictures that were imported from a hosting website are the same pictures that exist in my hard drive. So, in essence there are numerous, limited exposure outlets for someone wanting to keep a virtual scrapbook of their build that does not allow for comments from others.
Allowing comments and input from others may be beneficial when asking for it, but most of the comments I receive are unsolicited positive reinforcement from others. So, I stand on the same ground. If I didn't care (or want) that input from others, I'd just have the pictures that are on my computer, and leave it at that.

My progress thread doesn't really exist because everything i do to my car takes me 2 years to get it done. I had a paint thread but that took 15 months. I think i had a thread about my stroker but i'm not sure. I don't usually make progress threads, i just do the job and post pics about it when it's done. Right now my interior is stripped out and i'm having issues finding a good dash to put in it so things have stalled big time. I was hoping to have it done by now.

I need the entire dash but i wouldn't wanna pay to have something like that shipped. Plus they're pretty flimsy when you take them out. I already bought a factory black dash and put it in the trunk of my Vic, and i guess either i didn't notice a crack before i bought it or it cracked in my trunk but now it has a big crack down the middle so i'm out $100 on that. I've found a bunch of dashes but they're all cracked. I'm wishing i had just kept mine but i sold it to a guy who's restoring another '85 SSP.

I'd like to add another benefit to having progress threads -

There are many different brands of many different products. Everyone has a different combination and you can see what everyone uses. You can then use it as a review tool. "I see you used X part, how's it working?" "Well it went in after some mods with a BFH, but overall does good." Or "OHMAHGAWWD what a POS, I'll never buy this again, here is photographic evidence of why."

Just a thought.

I completely agree hence why I don't have a build thread on any site I frequent and also don't have a gayspace or hookupbook account.

Some of us would still like to see your car and what you're doing with it, because some of us still think your car is one of the nicer ones on the site. Dick.
