Hey guys...Just found out my car doesn't lock with the UPR Billet Door pins. Been 3 weeks since I've installed them, and am lucky nothing's been jacked, I just automatically assumed it was A-OK. They're actually too fat to retract into the door. I was thinking of grinding down the lower 1/4 or them to see if that helps....Anyone else have this problem?

I had this problem, it is not that they are too fat, they are just not threaded up far enough to allow lock stud enough depth.

Yeah they get hung up. Hopefully I can mod them somehow to work properly. They look really cool.

There not deep enough is the problem. They get snagged when they try to go down the hole.

Put some teflon tape on the threads and dont screw it all the way down. Thats what I did with my Steeda ones just so they would line up with each other, worked great.

Or you can just unscrew the cap that goes on the bar. I did that so I could manually unlock the doors instead of using the electronic button.
