i hear ya man. i had to made a stainless steal braided line for the oil return but forgot to put an easy fitting on it so you either have to drain the pan to remove it from that end or unbolt the unit and spin it around countless times to remove it from that side. its always the worse when its your own dumb fault...

you should start timing yourself on the removal, maybe start training for your drag race pit crew career

I feel your pain. This is the message that made me crack up though...

I know what you mean about the Vortech, my bud has one and they manage to really cram stuff in there... I mean it works but it is crammed in for sure...

Can't even see the dumb thing from here--it's too cloudy/hazy. I've been trying to see it out my office window (9th floor) for a week. No good views. It's over 100 miles from here.

Here's a link to a pic from the newspaper:
Volcano Pic

and the slideshow of reader-submitted pics:
Anchorage Daily News slide show

and finally, a link to the Saturday night news story, from my favorite TV reporter (and son):

Husky44 Jr.

Despite what you may be hearing on the news, no one's going to die here--we're just inconvenienced. But the car washes are making a killing!

Decided to get off my you know what and fix it tonight. The car will finally run tomorrow, for the first time since August!

I put some gas in the tank to check if both pumps were priming and ended up having to reseat my passenger side fuel rail, since one of the injectors didn't fully seal. I sure am glad that I didn't start it and find that I had a fuel leak, by watching the car burn! Had I not run into that little problem, it would be running tonight. I'd rather wait for daylight anyway, so needless to say, I'm glad it's finally finished!

Geez, I thought all he was installing was a supercharger?! Didn't know he was getting other "plumbing" too.

Well I did add some additional "parts," but they're made of metal.

None yet. Gotta see how the quality of video is on my digital camera. I like how the SQ-trim is pretty quiet. With the hood closed, you can't even hear it. Sleeper, what?

A sleeper is always the best as long as it doesn't oversleep.
