im lookin into buying a 345hp gt-40 crate motor and it looks like they only offer them with the 93 water pump and timing cover set up.my question is will this work with my alt bracket and pwr steering bracket off my 94?if not,why not?i guess i could just take the cover and stuff off my motor and put it on the crate motor but that just seems like a pain.any help out there.

You will have to take your 94 stuff off to work, I'm not sure but I think you will have to take of valve covers too.

CHP is a company that makes engines, like DSS and such

HERE is the engine you should get....

J/K.... but for real... why do the 331's cost more than the 347's??? You would think they would be the same price..... if anything, the 347 being more because of the larger pistons.......

I have that engine you are going to buy. I had to reuse my oil pan and pickup tube, dipstick, water pump, harmonic balancer, valve covers and thats about it if I remember right. My car is making the same power it did when I had my P head setup. Oh yeah I would replace the stock oil pump with a high volume as well.

Wow, can't they be held liable for advertising 345 HP and only putting out 200??
