I got a GT-40 upper and lower off of ebay, but now that I look closer at it I noticed that there is no EGR hole in the middle of the lower intake. Is this a 95 cobra lower, or what could it be?

VibrantRedGT said:Actually you can trick it. I made an EGR delete kit. Capped the header (5/8 flare nut at Lowes), capped the elbow (cut a peice of aluminum) and h-pipe. Hacked off the piping on the smog ports going into the back of the heads. Used JB weld to block the piping holes and bolted them back onto the heads. Lastly I removed the base of the EGR itself and plugged the hole on the shaft. Plugged the EGR back in the harness and tucked it away. It's been this way for 5 years and I've never had a "check engine" light or anything smog related ever.
