I have a complete GT40 setup the upper is mint no swollen tubes or cracks, factory powder coat. Standard untouched lower...and the Rare GT40 cover plate which you can not find...

Asking $700 obo...no reasonable offer denied. I just pulled this from a customers car who upgraded, it can be shipped anywhere. Hanover, PA

No offense, but that's just about the most insulting reply to a for sale ad possible. First of all, he's listed a ballpark price of $700. Second, why not make him an offer you consider to be more in the ballpark and see if you can get to something he'd agree too? Third, why would anyone ever reply with the lowest offer they would actually take, especially publicly? When I get this in reply to a for sale ad, I ignore it and drop my price only when I'm not getting anyone's interest.

I seen one for sale 500 upper and lower with throttle body coated in black , but all I wanted was the upper? So I wanted to know what hell take ? Not like I said wow that's expensive price...
