GT-40 upper install question and help

Well my dad and a friend have been installing the upper GT-40 intake, and now we have in on but when it comes time to turn it on, there is a popping noise and the car idles rough and then turns off.

We also installed an adjustable fuel regulator and have been messing with that with no luck.

BTW
we had an Explorer intake on there before, so I know th lower is the correct one.

Does anyone have any ideas on what the prob. could be

that's what I was thinking
WE took it off to see if everything is on right, but still not sure if there is anything else wrong

Good news the car is Alive everything seems to be working fine now

The culprit: the intake was not sealing properly with the lower.

Now the car is runnin rich you can tell by the gas coming out of the exhaust, probably take it to a shop to get the timing and fuel pressure tuned sometime soon.
