GT/Cobra and All Motor/Forced Ind. Question

Hello everyone, long time reader.. but I'm just turning 18, so it's been a measly 3.8L for the past 2 years. I've got a nice job now, and have tossed around the idea of a GT or Cobra. If I went with a GT, it would be a 99-02, but if I went the Cobra route it would most likely be 94-98.

Could you all help me with ideas or suggestions on the best/most economical route to take in order to achieve about 400-450 hp to the wheels, wether it be using the 5.0 or 4.6, all motor, or forced induction?

Buy a 99+ GT, Intercooled Mongoose kit from www.modularfordpowerhouse.com and some exhaust and you will have right at 400rwhp

I second '96&'01's suggestion... You can't go wrong with Tim at www.modularfordpowerhouse.com

Just so you know... the Cobra and the GT from those years are both 4.6 Liters. The cobra's are DOHC and the GT's are SOHC.
