Hi guys! So I may have made a mistake. My ball joint broke last week and so I finally got around to fixing it. In the process my passenger fender and the trim at the bottom was damaged. I found a guy parting out his GT, so I went ahead and got the fender for the right side, and the trim piece for both sides (since gt is different), thinking I'll just rock the little gt vents until i can find an LX trim piece.
Now the issue; I didn't think to check if the whole GT fender is different from the LX. So are they different or are they the same?

I am pretty sure the fenders are the same but you have to match the insert with the bumper. The gt ones will stick out.

What year is your car? The trim pieces changed slightly after 1991.

You may want to check the year match on the fenders. The wheel well opening is larger on I believe 91+ stangs to make room for the 16" wheel / tire setup. Either will bolt-up but you may have a fitment problem with mounting the trim splashes that join to the bumper cover....

Shoot; I have a 93 & the fender is from an 89. So I need a 91+ or a 92+?
