Go with the Mach. Higher resale value when you want the cobra I hear you can get sweet deals on 2003's if anyone still has them. The GT rocks though too if you get a good deal.

Mach 1

i only say this because if were to put a supercharger on a GT it would be with forged internals...

i am a proud owner of a Kenne Bell equipped 01 GT and I say go with the Mach. It's more original, plus those 4 valve motors are awesome. They are slowly coming out with forced induction systems for the mach, and when you build the funds up you will love the blown 4 vlv!!!

in any case..Mach or GT do not have forged internals..u will run into the same problem of building the bottom end...plus u can't put a twin screw in a Mach since u will lsoe the shaker thing..doesn't make sense..IMHO MAch is worth it if you keep it stock for the collector thing

MACH 1. More NA power, more blown power at less boost. Has a forged crank, so it will withstand higher power better than the GT.
Runs low 13's-high 12's stock.
Plus it's got a SHAKER!!!

Four cams rule!

So does IRS if you're a corner carving freak but then you'd have to consider a Cobra.

If you like convertibles like I do, you don't have much of a choice.

I vote for the Mach, but I might be a little biased.
