I just got my Stang Gt back from the dealer for a few service items at 5800 miles:
1. Rotate tires - $10.00 plus tax
2. Front end popping noise – this was diagnosed on my last visit but not all of the parts were in - dealer order part - Again?? They said last time they were ordering parts. It'll need to go in again next week for this.
3. Real axle binding noise – this occurs at low speed – it seems as if the tires are scrubbing the pavement. Per techs and service manager - cannot confirm the situation, Next time I bring it in they'll go for a slow speed ride with me. Dealer claims it is "normal" action of posi rear?
4. Raspy grinding – low speed low gears – sounds like a diesel engine at times. Fixed under warranty - dealer inserted two missing tranny bolts.
5. Drivers side window rattles in track when the window is all the way down or partially down. Fixed under waranty - weld in rear of window track was loose.
6. A/C does not blow as cool it should - per dealer system full and a/c outlet temp is to spec at 42 degrees.
No oil change this time since it had been done twice since new.
