GT TO Cobra Bumper Swap - NEED HELP!!!!!

I just picked up a new Cobra front facia from late model restoration supply and a set of the clear foglights. I am swapping my original GT bumper and foglights for this setup however I have run into a slight problem. The cobra foglights do not mate up to the bumper that is attached to the body. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem when switching bumpers and foglights and what is a solution? I believe I will have to notch out the part that hits the bumper in order for the bolt holes for mounting to line up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i did the same thing and mine bolted up fine, i didnt use all the holes but they still bolted up fine to where the gt fog light holes were. a picture of where it bolts up and your fog light would help.

These are all the pics I have right now at work. The foglights are hitting the bar I have circled in the pic. The left hand hole is what is hitting. I need to take more pics later this afternoon and then I will post them. Maybe this will help for now.

I did the same thing to my GT last summer and ran into zero problems. My car is a GTS and came w/out foglights. I ordered an OE pair from DPS and got the mounting hardware from a local Ford dealership. They went right in w/out any modifcations.

I figured it out. I'm a dumbass and never moved the lights out to holes where they were supposed to be. It's looking good now!!!!!

yea on the new cobra lights you wont use one of the mounting holes
