What is a good price for a set of Non-P GT 40's?

GT-40 cast iron heads ....been milled .030 ..upgraded to comp springs ,retainers, locks good to .550 lift....been lightly ported and gasket matched.....very low miles 450obo

ive seen a set off a 93 cobra that the guy was wanting $300

lol the P's are better than the non p's.....Id never pay 450 for a set of those, nevermind the fact you can get a set of used aluminums for not much more.

keep an eye on corral parts section, I saw a set of edelbrocks go for $700 not long ago

I looked at those already and determined that there were not what I wanted

8 new intake valves - why not replace exhaust valves

new valve seals on one head - what about the other

O-ringed - Id rather push a head gasket than a short block

Truck smoked a little - you sure it was the rings?

If you have any boneyards near you, a set of heads can be had for around $30 each. That's where most of the ones on eBay come from. I went to one of my local boneyards a while back and saw two sets of P heads and 4 sets of non-p heads. I grabbed the P-heads for myself for $50, and decided to put them on eBay....got $400 for them.

so the p-heads come on 98+ 302 explorers, anything else?? is there a way to identify these heads

Sure I could get them for cheap, but I would still need a new set of springs and gasket match. These heads already have that done and only 3k miles. I just want to know what other paid for theirs that have similar work to these.

I got my 93 Cobra heads with the crane 1.7 rockers for 525 shipped.
