GT40 heads, what should I upgrade?

I snagged some GT40 3 bar heads, my block is at the shop getting freshened up, gettin the crank polished, I am gonna take the heads by tomorrow and have some new valve seals put in, what else would you guys have checked?? They have single springs and new retainers, just wanting to have everything in order when it all goes back together.

throw some better springs on thur and have em ported and you should be good lol!!

.600 lift springs, valve job, bowl cleanup. At that time they will also take care of the seat pressure. This work shouldn't be too expensive.

Don't have them ported, because if you have that much money to invest in gt40 iron heads, you should of just bought better aluminum heads in the first place.

Good deal, I dropped em off, I told them what I wanted a good solid engine that I can drive on the street and have some fun with. The said they would hook me up, plus their work is very reasonable
