Going to try tackling a gt40 intake install this weekend. Today I just want to prep it to get it ready. I have all the gaskets, the elbow, the brass plugs, all that stuff. I got all the old gasket off. Now I'm stuck. The upper has four 4" studs in it. I cant get them out and they are too long for the elbow.
Is there an easy way to remove them without a torch (upper is painted)?
Is it easy to just use the existing bolts and go with a fox setup? If so, does anyone have pics? Pics of a fox setup or an elbow setup would be nice. I HATE rusted bolts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
