I like it. BUTT. Lol. These GT40P heads are already Machined, installed and awaiting ignition. I just wish I’d of understood the plug angle issue back when I was so hard headed and I wanted to use STOCK parts for the Wow factor!! Im all about getting a set of AFRs etc now. Lol. At this point I need to see this thru at minimal cost. As a reminder this is a 68 with shock towers GT40P heads and a clutch cable set up which doesn’t negate the standard LT for the 68. Ie no standard Zbar issue but the T-5 bell housing Tab is in the way with steering box as well. So 3 issues to put Exh out back. Ran this car for a long time with the Stock 90 heads, Headers & clutch cable set up using the standard Foxbody H-Pipe with 90 Mufflers dumping at Rearend. Update on banging the stock headers. I banged away on the stock 90 headers and cracked #6 Cyl after heating up to bang and still not enough room. I’m calling FPA tomorrow. Oh fun. Lol.

I guess we will see how those other headers fit. Post some pics when you get them in, I'd be interested to see.

I just called and spoke to Stan at Ford Powertrain Applications. Says he can’t clear both the GT40P heads and Clutch cable. It’s one or the other!! Ughhh. So now I’m looking at shorties, MAC-50158. 79-93 Foxbodies. Summit carries FPP. Ford Performance Parts. The Summit part # is FMS-M-9430-P50. Still looking. Ughh

Ya, the P head with a cable clutch is a tough combo to fit. Might need to go custom on that side. If you could get the right size u-bend and mock it up yourself you could have someone else weld it and save some cash.

When you get that running a 70mm MAFS would be helpful.
