Hello,
I'm currently putting together a budget/mild street only build. Here is what I have in mind, I was hoping for a little advice from the experts.
-65mm Ford Racing Throttle Body
-GT40 Tubular Upper
-GT40 Lower, ported to match Trick Flow Street heat Heads
-GT40P Cylinder Heads w/ the following work already done
---PBM 3100 Springs good to .550 lift
---HD 555 Valve Locks
---New Valve Stem Seals
---Heads Resurfaced
---Light Porting Bowls/Exhaust Roof
-Ford Racing P Style Headers

I was considering swapping to a new cam, however I have been reading a lot of other threads that say the HO cam is a pretty stout street cam. What do you guys think? I'd kind of like to keep all of the stock valvetrain and cam in place for simplicity's sake. Please let me know what you think.

Also, will I have any issues with the Heads/ Lower intake since the intake has been ported a bit and doesn't exactly match the heads. Should I have the heads port matched to the intake?

Thanks in advance!

port matching would be optimal. +1 on the stock cam. I run the stocker with gt40's and an edelbrock performer intake. It runs great.
