As you guys know Im going to be building a explorer motor very soon and I have been doing some research on the things I need. Since this explorer has the GT40P style heads I know about the spark plug wires issue. im going to be using BBK LT headers and from my research it sounds like I need 90* spark plug wire boots but i havent been able to find a part number for the wires that i wanted and I looked up on the MSD website for the universal fit wires bc the chevy kit only has a 12' coil wire which isnt going to be long enough on our cars. So i found this part number and I wanted you guys to see if I have the right part number 31239. Here is the website and the ebay auction.

I'd just use their "build-a-wire" set Measure out the perfect length for everything and then make 'em with the 90deg. boots. Worked for me!

I agree with TomCat. I dont even like the fit of the Ford racing wiresets that are "supposed" to be a custom fit on a 5.0. Just get a universal and you will be much happier and it will look better in the end.
