I have been and my car was just finished and has been tuned. It's a beast now !! Some things changed and as of right now I decided to go a different route. It's not because I can't, more along the lines of a better opportunity came up and I took it. So with that said, the car does not have a GT500 blower on it but it can be done, it can't be done cost effective unless you know a lot of people though.

I'll be posting up a thread with pictures, graphs, etc in the next few days. I might even be at the NMRA race at Bradenton with the car. I just don't know if I can make it ... I've got a lot of little stuff to get done on the car.

I don't think you understood what I was doing correctly. I was getting the complete Roush R2300 TVS kit and just not using the blower (headunit) in exchange for the GT500's Eaton M122. It can be done. The blower (headunit), like I said before, will have to be machined slightly for some changes but it can work.

Got it.

That makes sense. And that would be fine, since the capability of the Roush R2300TVS intake manifold is such that it can support a blower as large as the R2300TVS blower. By putting the GT500 blower on it, you are running a smaller blower - so you have adequate intercooling for the boost you are running. If you went the other way - and tried to put a GT500 blower on a 4.6L Roush 445 intake manifold, you would be in trouble, since the intercooler is too small - unless you turned the boost way down.

The bottom line is that superchargers are designed to work with an intake manifold that has a given cooling capacity. It is OK to have more cooling than needed, but not OK to not have enough.

Since your details were sparse in the initial post it was hard to tell if you had a good idea or a science project gone awry.

Anxiously awaiting pictures.

Like I said, plans changed, the GT500 Eaton M122 isn't going on the car right now. I've got something else on it currently. I'll post a thread later tonight. I need to go get some sub par photos.
