GT500 owners in SOCAL...lighten up!

Wow!! I've met a few GT-500 and Shelby GT owners here in NY and they were all cool even complimented my regular ole' 07 GT with the GT package, they liked the plenum cover a lot, and people say NYkers are rude!!!

Heh, not so much up here near Rochester, NY. All the GT500 owners I've seen around here don't acknowledge my presence. Although most of the people in this area are pretty stuck up.

If it weren't for us mere mortal Stang owners there wouldn't be a new GT500 anyways:D
Forget the modded Fox bodies beating them...what about guys like Rygenstormlocke and his turbo'd 6er running 10s...imagine the look on the 500 owner's face after loosing that battle...:jaw:

In the San Antonio area there are lots of GT500 owners and even more Shelby GT owners. Most do seem rather stuck up. I approached a guy about his Shelby GT ...and started asking questions about how he liked it. The answers led me to beleive he didn't want to admit that he should have just got a GT instead...and saved himself 25 thousand bucks.
They...the stuck up ones...envy us I know it!

I was in a show with a GT-500 owner, and he was a really nice guy....we spent a lot of time finding differences between our cars. I really like the staggered wheels on them, they look sweet! He didn't even cop an attitude when I got a trophy and he didn't.

Went on a poker run with about 15 other Mustangs, one of which was a GT-500....again, a really nice guy. His car was the dirtiest one there! You could see where he just kind of swiped at the doors when he washed it, and missed huge areas.

Then yesterday at the grocery store, I was walking waaaay out in the boonies to where I had parked, and in came a GT-500. He cruised right up kind of towards the front, and parked between two minivans!! I was stunned.

The GT-500 owners out here don't seem to be that stuckup about their cars. Although I did meet one guy who proudly showed me pics, but then said it was in the garage because he didn't want to ruin the resale value by driving it.
