Wonder how id get it to work with my stripes. I was thinking if and when I do the cobra wing, and the cdc front lip. Maybe have my body guy paint the stripes on, instead of manipulating stripe stickers back on. I dunno.. hmm

I installed the OEM GT500 spoiler on my car also, big improvement over the factory GT spoiler, I also modified and installed the GT500 chin spoiler.

I used a product called Goo-Gone when I changed my spoiler and it removed that adhesive quickly and easy. Does not damage the paint and only costs about 2 dollars a bottle. Save you credit cards for buying more parts

Goo Gone wouldn't take mine off. I don't know what the deal was with mine.

I just installed mine I got off Ebay, PAINTED for $95 + shipping. BY FAR the cheapest, most effective visual mod to the car to date. Unbelievable! Love it!!!

Kooldawg, thanks for the great write up, it was a big help in the install process. The only thing I thought I'd mention though, is, I think the little foam pads go between the spoiler and the holes, on the top side of the decklid, not underneath. (Doesn't really matter though, since we all were liberal w/ the silicone anyway!!

My ends wouldn't stick down either, but what are you gonna do? It was either live with that, or drill two more holes, and I just couldn't do it!!

anyway, here are some pics....and I know THE CAR IS DIRTY! IT"S TOO DAMN COLD TO WASH IT RIGHT NOW!!!
