This guy is crazy, new ones are not going for this. Looks like he is probably upside down or trying to make a buck. Either way, he would be lucky to get 45K for this. Who wants to be the second owner already on one of these?

Just goes to show that some people are just nuts when it comes to buying some cars. Why would anyone who really loves Mustangs already want to sell a GT 500. He must have thought he could make a quick buck or maybe he is down on his luck.
At any rate, he shouldn't have paid that for the car in the first place.

It was probably a pre-order where he paid out the wazoo to be one of the first to get the car.

The guy is probably taking a flyer

I’d guess the guy isn’t really interested in selling the car, just hanging some bait out there to measure the interest in his car or draw attention to his username. How many times have you seen cars for sale at shows with unreasonable prices, the owner is thinking if someone really wants to pay an insane price, he will sell it and buy another one.

Same old story:

Q: “What is it worth?”
A: “How much you got?”

BTW, if you really, really, really want a very nice windviel blue 05 GT vert, PM me ….
