I found a brand new 01 SVT Cluster here and I want to put it in my 00 GT , I was wondering if any of you did it and if yes , do you have a suggestion about hiding the SVT sign in the middle of the RPM

I thought a sticker will do the trick but maybe you guys have a better idea ?

I'm not too sure how to make it work , looks like you have to go to a dealership to have it programmed , can I just bring the cluster or I have to drive the car there , swap clusters and have it programmed

Here's a pic. I know it's not the actual one cause they told me it was written SVT in it.

Here's the stupid question : Does the MPH will read right ? Where the 160MPH is , mine, ( GT's ) shows 150MPH .

What about RPM ?

Thanks !

The ECU is in your car, not in the cluster, so you have to drive your car there, giving them the cluster alone won't do you any good.

The MPH will read correctly once they reflash your ECU. The Tachometer is the same as yours except the redline is 1000 RPMs higher on the new cluster. I doubt they'll reflash your ECU so your redline matches the cobra, so you'll just have to make a mental note where it really is.

Personally, I think it costs way too much money for what it's worth, but that's just my opinion.

How much you think I should pay for a New 01 Cobra Cluster.

Start with a GT? Or will a V6 suffice?
