[97 modular]

Anybody know much about the GTS mustangs. thought it was only in 1995 they did those. But I also heard it was called the 248-a package after that. Someone told me my car was a GTS but its a 97. Any info on this would be great.

if it has manual door locks and windows it is a GTS... or a converted normal mustang...

Not so sure what tarch is talking about, the only GTS mustangs were in 1995, and it was to replicate the LX concept from the fox era. Yes, it was stripped down lacking many creature comforts including some externals such as the spoiler. If yours is a '97, its not a GTS.

As others have said, the GTS was a '95 only model. They lacked A/C, power accessories (such as windows, seat, and locks), spoiler, and fog lights. They also had the base seats.

I've ran across several 96-98 mustangs that are 4.6's/5speeds and have cloth interior, no rear wing, no power anything. ask jon or paul from KK they had one at their shop awhile ago. weather or not there called gt's or not I dont know.

I'm not shure either but my brother in law had a black 95 with no options at all it was a 5spd. No power windows,locks, cheap ass tape deck, no spoiler,A/C,crusie, and i think it didnt even have tilt? And it was a 5.0 but it seemed slower then mine? peace
