guage adjustment with disp feat. ?

hello all this is my first post and i have a question in regards to adjusting the speedo needles. i was wondering if the electronic display feature on 99+ stangs can be used to determine needle position . are they accurate even if the needles are placed improperly? im curious about this because i was interested in buying a set of guage faces that requires removing the needles but im really anal about having my guages not read the proper measurements. your help is appreciated.

thats what i used to set my needles. heres a pic of my gauges for ya....they are NR white face. EDIT: take a lot of before pics running the motor at different RPM and MPH speeds to make sure everything is right after you get the needles set.

thats the look im going for. so you didnt have any problems setting the gauges to read properly? what was your gauge face install method?

i used the install link off of mustangworld.com

its pretty simple, i could have done it without the instructions. Just take your time and dont rush it. The only needle that is off is the gas gauge. the low fuel light comes on a tad right before the 'E.' no biggie... Also, i put all the needles on while i had the gauge pod back into the car and the motor running. I set the speedo needle while driving. I put that digital readout on, set cruise control at 50mph and stuck the needle on.
