the pvcrs were 5/16" WOW you must have had some gorilla holley "tuner" working on it earlier. I thought you just plugged the pvs and jet it up with a blowthrough setup. Those pulls looked extremely quick and I wouldn't be surprised if the dyno didn't apply the proper brake force, the clutch and/or tires slipped, or some combo of the three

Noooooo. You need them. If you block and jet up, you run around town with 80's in the front and probably 10-1 AFR. Generally jet down, then larger PVCRs. I try to keep them small so the motor doesn't load up when it opens.

Next time you go back, put a set of slicks on it to make sure you aren't breaking traction on the rollers.

I don't know about you, but I don't have ~$360 to waste on tires just to dyno.

A traction problem is not about tires and you WILL wear out slicks extremely fast on a dyno.

Its all about the straps and weight in the back. We have had plenty of cars over 800rwhp on our dyno that didn't wheelspin.

Hope you get the carb worked out.
That motor should make close to 400rwhp on the motor . . .

I didn't say anything about BUYING a set of slicks. I said put a set on.

I don't own a set either, but between my other 3 car buddies I could borrow a set for the day.

And not to poke at Isk but, with a car as fast as his I would own a set of slicks.

at this point, slicks would cause other damage(body, drivetrain etc) so i'll work with street tires and learn to skate

How much power were you making with the blower setup?

I don't think he saw this. But it never ran right with the blower because of the carb. Entirely too rich.

No I didnt see that,, sorry . I can say, the car not even being tuned runs 10 times better with the turbo, so my guess is that the blower doesnt need the same amount of fuel as the turbo does

based on your numbers you put out and your clutch slipping and how good your car sounded on the dyno... being honest...i'm a little scared you will beat my dyno numbers. :fairyfight:

but my car is still faster
