in this last pic, you can see the blue light from the alarm shining on everything. its crazy bright, so why are people so dumb? he didnt steal a thing. but i'm a broke kid going to university, and i know for sure that the rear window is not cheap......:notnice:

Serves you right for having a birthday! J/K! Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Surveillance camera at the shopping center?
Happy birthday!(?)

i dont know. the cops wouldn't even show up, so i have to do all this on my own. i tried calling the mall, but nobody answers. it had just closed when i came out to find this, so i'll have to wait until tomorrow i guess. no answer at my insurance company either. i don't think they'd cover it but i just want to check.

you have fire, theft and vandalism on your policy?

yep. just that, and PLPD (minimum liability). but i think glass is covered under a separate policy. even if i am covered, i think i have a $1000 deductible anyways.

ouch...$50 deductible here.. well you can find a drivers door glass for pretty cheap the 1/4 may be a little $$$ though!...check your local junkayrd!

Can't have anything nice without people screwing with it

I think I would be plain sick if I came out to find that. The quarter could be taped up at least untill you can find some good cheap ones. The side glass is probably the cheaper of it all, but still a pain to replace. I know you have already figured this out too, but chances of finding one in time to make it home for Christmas is slim too.

Did you have rental insurance? If so you could rent a car for a couple of days while getting the windows fixed. Its an extra rider on your policy.

Not that this was a "Happy" Birthday, but I bet there are lots of things that you can be thankful for still. Got to look for those silver linings man.

Wishing you the best of luck making it home for Christmas.
