After getting the car back from paint (dark cherry pearl metallic) it has been hard to put the old chrome on the coupe. I have bought all new chrome and mouldings except for the window mouldings. When the body shop took off the drip mouldings they got a little rough with the pliers. After purchasing new mouldings I have had the hardest time to get them to work.
I do understand how the mouldings are supposed to snap on. I can put on the old mouldings- no problem so it is not the drip rail. The aftermarket krap is too tight. Has anyone had any experience in getting these to fit?
I promise to finally post some pics soon!

Avoid this shop in the future!! What should have been used is a old time bottle opener, wrapped once in electrical tape. Works like a champ. That said, look for a guy who can repair and buff out the oem stuff.
