out???? sorry im askin about this again but i checked out the gt today to see how it looked. i would like to do this myself instead of paying somone.

anyway, i thought it would be toward the middle of the car for some reason. however, it is right there on the pass. side of the car first thing in front of my face.

this thing really wont come out without removing the dash? i want to avoid that if possable because once i take all that apart i will get alot of rattles and squeeks. thanks for any info.

does anyone know i feel like doing this right now.

highly recommend that u buy a Haynes manual and follow instructions in there...It takes a little work in most cars-but if you're comfortable with taking apart interior, it's not that big of a deal. And usually it's just the Glove compartment and maybe a few extra pieces underneath..

I was looking it over one day and it appears there are a few screws holding it in--usually you don't need to take the dash apart. Should be straight-forward. As mentioned, buy a Haynes manual as it would help tons.

Ive never seen a car that needed the dash removed, not saying they dont exsist, just I've never seen it. Usually you can drop the blower from under the dash, many times the glove box has to come out to access the screws but all you do there is squeeze the back of the glove box storage bay to get it past the stops and it will swing down out of the way. After that it just a matter of a flashlight and screw driver to drop the blower out.

Edit*

I just went out and looked at mine, looks like it just unbolts from under the glove box. All you need is 5 minutes, a nut driver and a flashlight and it should be out no problem. Dont think you need to even open the glove box.

thanks guys, that is what it looked like to me, that it just comes right out. that is what made me ask. i do have the hains manual, but it just states hoe to remove the blower itself, it doesnt usually say what you might mave to do leading up to that.

anyway thanks again, i think i am going to give it a try .
