guys w/ 13" brakes, what kinda pads?

im looking for some good brake pads that wont squeel, perform well, leave little to no dust, and wont eat my rotors. price isnt really an issue. what do you recommend? i have 13" brakes in case you missed it.

i'm in the same boat. I am still using the stock cobra pads but i think i'm going to buy the Hawk pads when i need them.

have you heard anything about the hawk pads? it seems to be the "Nitto" of pads. i just really want a set of pads that wont dust on me like these stock ones do.

get ceramic pads.

just go to the local parts store. the hawk are a waste of money IMO if you are just looking for a quite dust free pad.

and ive heard ceramic pads eat away the rotor. definitly dont want that.

it really depends on what you want to do. saying you want a pad that stops well, is quiet, doesnt dust and doesnt eat up rotors is like asking for a blonde with big cans that can keep up with any of us on a car conversation, bad idea, cause i know one. but anyway. a pad that will tend to give good fade free braking will tend to dust and make noise. the intro hawk pads tend to be the best of everything. for heavy track use you might want to consider having a track set of pads.

note: when i say track i mean road racing.

I used Hawks on a previous car and was very unhappy w/ them. They squeeled way too much. I properly bedded them, but they were never right. I've known a few others w/ the same problem. I switched to EBC Greenstuff pads and had no problems.

not much dust outta my ebc green pads, but then again unless im out tearing up the road im pretty easy on the brakes. No squeel outta them either. Had hawks on the rear at 1 time and they wouldnt shut up.
