How far off are y'alls speedometers?

I've considered 18's, but didn't want to throw the speedometer way off (especially since I've got gears). I figured that 275/17's and 315/17's would be good, but maybe the speedo thing isn't a real issue.

i have:

18x9 rims front and rear

front: 255/40/18 (the min for 9" wide)
rear: 285/35/18 (the max for 9" wide)

when my rears wear out, i'm going to 285/40s, better traction

I have 245/40 up front (very skinny for a 9" wheel), and 275/40 out back on 18X9's all around. My speedo is spot on according to various radar guns.

Here's one for ya!!!

I have 18's w/ the 305 35' out back, as stated above. 390 gears, newly installed tko-500 tranny.

I do 170+ MPH on residential roads. I wear a badge and assure you that i don't speed, in neighborhoods anyway
