The point of a deep aftermarket pan is to lower the oil away from the crank?
Explain to me how that works. Because the pans are advertised to hold 2 more quarts than the factory pan. This makes the oil level THE SAME in relation to the dipstick.
To achieve this goal of oil being farther away from the crank, you'd have to run the stock amount of oil in a deep pan. But that's not how it is. You get a deep pan and they tell you to run 7 quarts in it.
