I have a 2003 GT. I just bought a predator. My car has a dallas mustang speed -cal and mil eliminators. I turned off the 02 sensors anyway and selected 4.09 gear ratio (I assume that is the same as 4.10) . Will my speedometer take readings now from my speed-cal or from the predator settings?

I left the speed-cal on just to be safe in the case that I have to take it into shop for warranty work. If I installed the factory tune back into the car the speed-cal would still be connected and be working. The same goes with the mils. Is this ok to do?????????????

I really dont know what combining the speedcal & predator will do.. since the speedcal changes the voltage to be multipied, and the predator changes the multiplier itself.. i think it would make the speedo read too low.

Combining mil eliminators & the predator is fine though, since now it will just ignore the patched signal it receives all together.

to check your speedo setting go on a straight mile of hiway, set your cruise for exactly 60MPH and time a mile. It should be exactly 60 seconds.

leave the factory gear setting so the predator wont change anything. if you already have the speedcal there is no reason to change it using the predator. i turned my o2 sensors off but if i need warranty work im just gonna put my stock h-pipe in and take the predator tune out.

If I want to remove speed-cal do I just unplug it? I did not do the install, but I know where it is because I installed my 5.0 shifter. Would I have to do any splicing of any wires ??
