Guys.....all I can say is thank you!!! I bought a 94 GT convertible last year with the plan to do a H/C/I swap and it's finally done!!!!! I want to thank Stangnet for everything that I learned. I studied the combo's and write ups on doing it for 6 months. It is truly amazing how much I learned from all of you. I must have spent 40 hours just studying the right combo.

The biggest concern I had was the cam but she is idling solid so far.

So she now has Edelbrock 1.90 heads, a Comp XE270HR-14 cam, Scorpion 1.6's, Cobra U/L intake with spacer. She didn't want to run too well when I first fired her up. Timing was off......I set it to 10 deg and she fired right up. I let the computer learn and now she is purring like a kitten!! Still have to set the idle up a little.

I have pretty solid mechanical skills but there are SO many idiosyncracies with with 94/95, which everybody knows.

I'll get her out on the road later this week. It's 35 and crappy weather in Cleveland right now.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations! It's definitely a good feeling when it fires up for the first time.

It feels awesome!! I spent so much time trying to pick the right cam.....one that would run in an SN95. Got it all back together, had a quick smoke and decided to give it a try. It didn't want to run that good at first but then I remembered that when I set the timing that, like a dumb ars, that I forget to pull the spout. Once I did all that, she fired up and idled great.

Gotta just set the idle up a little bit and get that stupid egr tube that runs from the header to the egr valve lengthened. With the spacer, it won't reach.

Again......thanks to Stangnet, she's running great.

Are you going to get a chip tune, injectors, MAF, etc?

Nice work!

Doesn't Late Model Restoration have a spacer for the EGR tube? I think this is it:

I've got all the supporting goodies coming. She'll be topped off with 24# squirters and a matching MAF.....fuel pump too. Then we're off to get a tune. Gotta make the most of all the mods. Wife is loving me about now. $$$$$$$

Thanks for the info on the egr tube.......I'll check it out.
