H/C/I guys, what's your gas mileage?

I went up to Michigan this weekend and got 26.4mpg while cruising up there. It was mostly doing 80mph on the freeway, but there was a lot of small towns I had to go through and slow down. I thought that was pretty good for taching like 2700 the whole way.

Yea, I also got 21mpg when I was just driving around town up there. I got like 300+ miles on about 11.xxx gallons of gas. I just calculated it when I pumped it.

21mpg here on my recent 5 hour trip to Norwalk. I was going 70-75mph most of the time. I didn't think that was bad at all with the 4.10's and such.

I think part of what your seeing is the advantage of the "newness" of the parts. other than your bottom end your car is literally brand new right now. And because of that running in peak condition. There is no crud built up in the combustion chambers and the whole 9...and i dont know how the Ed cams are on fuel but they seem to be nice just looking at your mpg numbers and Paul's...

I usually get 22-23mpg on the highway and about 15-16 for normal city driving.

Jake...if you have 3.73's, keep in mind even with a 23-tooth speedo gear, you're MPH will read at least 5% high...therefore you are racking up extra miles and getting better "gas mileage" when in reality, you're not. It could make the different of at least 2mpg by my calculations on my car. I still see 24mpg as pretty darn good. I get maybe 22mpg pure highway (after correction factor) and about 15mpg in town.

can our cars get that kind of mileage stock? damn, my mileage with just the I part in HCI is way ****tier than that. i get like 19 mpg on the highway...must be the gunning it to merge and the constant 90mph.

I was getting the same mileage as stock with Exhaust and intake mods. ~25mpg driving 75 mph (corrected).

i get about 25 on the highway.

with passengers the a/c running and hauling ass down to the beach (something I dont usually do, doing 80+ the whole time sometimes as much as 120 onm the wide open Texas highways to catch the speeding group of people we were with ). Also some cruising around the island......

I got 23 on that tank.

Having a light car owns. as you drop weight, your mileage will get better and better. I am looking forward to the next 100 pounds I am about to take off the car

Jesus, Jake! You just bought it with like 7k last year! At your rate, you're going to catch me in 2 years. Since last May, I've put 2050 miles on the car.

I'm going to be taking mine out for about 100-150 miles in a few days, I'm going to check the mileage.
