I posted this thread in Canada West, but afterwards realized that it might be of more general interest. I recently completed a heads/cam/intake/headers etc. install with a P-51 intake and Comp XE262AH cams, and Bassani mid length headers. those numbers seem really low for all the bolt-ons and stuff you have...hell with bolt-ons 262 RWHP isnt hard to reach on a PI 4.6 GT

And you need to get rid or the stock intake tube.. With the p-51, cams, headers and ported heads im sure its a good restriction. get a nice JLT intake, Its plastic so it wont heat up and it has the largest diamiter tubing out of all the intakes ive seen.

Other than that you did exactly what I want do do with my car a nice reliable N/A DD street car. Good luck with her.

Those numbers seem low to me also, have you had your car tuned.

I just posted on the main thread as well, but these tests were on a Mustang MD-600. Equivalent dynojet numbers would be about 298 HP / 317 ft-lbs at the wheels. A stock 05 GT on the same dyno tests about 240 RWHP.

You can also see the comparison tests for other cars tested at the same facility. It's better than a bolt on Mach I, and way better than a bolt on 97 Cobra.

Yea, NICE #s man! The MD always reads way low. M6 LS1s seem to make about 270 on them...but it all depends on what weight you put in and crap.

Sorry overlooked what tool was used for your dyno numbers, impressive good numbers.

Looks good. Although I have a question for you I take it you use a % to calc. flywheel hp. What % do you think is accurate for a MD dyno?

i don't need to get my post count up, but gains would be marginal if any, switching from a stock intake tube to something else.

every pony counts when going all motor. I do know its not a big gain but it should be atleast 10 RWH with the mods he has.
