GT40x Heads, POS SSI Intake, B Cam, I am attempting the first crank.
Fuel issue resolved with AN fittings and braided hose, TDC, Rotor pointed at #1 wire on cap, fuel is at ~40 psi when cranking. All cylinders held cold compression at or above 120 psi. All rocker arms move and are shimmed and tightened to 18 lbs. Spout connector is out.
I got a miss guys. The car will crank but it sounds like a dead miss. The passenger side pipe pops, the driver side blows a little smoke, the car sounds like its missing. Adjusted the fuel it was at 80 psi. Now its at 40 while cranking.
Last time I attempted to crank it (5 months ago?) a couple of plugs smelled like gas and a couple had black soot.
Am I looking at fouled plugs or what? Does timing have to be DEAD on?
