What would be a smarter choice H/C/I or Supercharger on a 88? Also should I get a custom chip or just convert to Maf?? Thanks guys.

H/C/I convert and get tuned you can always throw on the sc later. I did sc first and should have done H/C/I. Either way will be fun.

Yea, your better off doing the HCI first so you have breathing room if you want to S/C it in the future

I'm looking to build a mean street car not really looking to take it to the track much. What parts do you guys recommended?? I know I want the AFR heads. But what about the rest, intake, cam, injectors, fuel pump, TB, Mass Meter etc. Any recomendations on a killer combo? Looking for around 330-350 hp.

HCI is the smarter way to go but you will want more once its done.

I'm definitely in the H/C/I first camp. Nothing is more embarrassing than having a forced induction car that gets beat by a similar N/A car. Everyone will overestimate your car if you've got a blower without h/c/i, but everyone will underestimate your car if you do not have forced induction. Either way, I think you will enjoy yourself. You will definitely be able to make more power at the same amount of boost in the future if you do go H/C/I before you add a blower. My old H/C/I car ran harder than several stock supercharged 5.0s that I raced regularly back in the day. It would walk from them on the highway and out of the hole.

AFR 165s work with stock pistons, but 185s would be my choice if they'd fit (no PTV contact). I've gotta recommend my man Ed Curtis for his custom cams. An RPMII or systemaxII intake would work. I personally went with a ported Cobra Intake and made 311 rwhp before I put on a cold-air intake.
