I just bought me a 92 LX Hatch that is completly stock. I am thinking of putting an X303 cam, GT40 ported Heads, Stock intake would I be able to tell a difference with this setup far as horsepower?

what are your plans with this car? street driving? i dont think an X cam is emissions legal?

that will boost a ton of horsepower, might want to put a aftermarket intake to fully take advantage of it tho. Hence the phrase Heads, Cam AND INTAKE! but you can always do the intake later if you want

stock intake will restict that combo so much that you will dissapointed, I'd definately buy an aftermarket intake, sounds like your on a budget though, I'd see if you could find some better heads because that cam will need the upgraded valve springs and such and it might be too big for the heads.

It dosent matter about emissions where I live, I live in SouthCarolina/ For right now I only have enought money to go that route or go Nitrous,Gears,Exhaust.
