I've been looking at the trickflow track heat topend kit at summit for 2,249
what else will I need and what type and were should I get it from.
here's my list
lifters
forged pistons,and rods
26 or 30lbs injectors
255 fuel pump(I think i would need a new one iono though)
spark plugs(I need new ones anyway)
spark plug wires(need new one's too)
70 or 75mm tb
and a bigger maf iono what mm for the 26 or 30s

Then the car will have elec fan,3.73's and a 125shot.If i have alittle more money how much would it cost to have the engine bored out to a 306?It will be till april(my b-day) before I can get every thing b/c the topend kit i'll have that at christmas.
My unlce keeps telling my dad not to let me buy all that it will be to much power for a 17yr old..:rlaugh: Will I need a dyno tune? or will it be ok without one

Are you doing the gears first? I would deff do gears first before I tore into the motor. It'd get that motor in the power band quicker, and it'd be a lot more fun to drive while you waited to get your crap together. I'd hold off on the spray too until you got used to the extra power from a h/c/i.

While your tearing the motor apart put a new water pump on it for sure. I mean it's not hard to do with the motor in the car but it's a lot easier to do outside, and it'll probably need one soon anyway.

All in all have fun with it and be safe/careful. I'm only 18 and I'm building up my h/c/i hopefully for next spring. I've got an a4 ls1 with a big mouth on my list to kill so I have my plans. :D

Yea im waiting on getting them it should not be to long though maybe 2 weeks max.
and it shouldn't be to hard to get use to I drove my dad's cobra around all the time and ran a 13.04 at 109 mph and it was a vert:) but that was after some practice I kept missing 3rd.... but i finally got it.
