I cranked up my car today after doing a heads and cam swap and at first it was driving alright, then it started to misfire at low throttle, now its so bad I barely got it home it limped all the way. There is also a ticking sound coming from underneath the engine that correlates to RPMs, Im worried it might be a collapsed lifter and thats causing my problem, or it could be a loose header bolt, but thats not as big of a concern, I REALLLLLLLLY neeed to figure out the misfire, can anyone guide me in the right direction; I HAVE to have the car driveable by tuesday night
Pull codes while you're at it, and see if it gives you anything.
Im about to change the spark plugs and check the wire routing too once the car cools down to see if thats it.
